Meet the brand new Leopard 44
Last year we took delivery of a very special vessel, a brand spanking new Leopard 44 sail cat. There aren’t many like it and it is definitely one of the best boats in the Whitsundays.
Luxury styling
The timber, leather and marble finishes are as beautiful as any house, and the outdoor living spaces are practical and comfortable.
Unique forward cockpit
What makes it unique? Aside from its luxury styling, it has an extra forward cockpit, accessed from the main saloon, in addition to the big rear cockpit you expect from a luxury yacht. This means you can sit in comfort with two tables, under shade, at both the front or the back of the vessel. Perfect for either keeping out of the sun, or appreciating the view, or both! The rear cockpit also has a large built in table setting and extra lounge space for reclining.
Accommodation and beds
Accommodation is plush and well suited to a large family, two families travelling together, or 3 couples. There are 3 super comfy double cabins, each with a bathroom, and an additional 3 bunks for the kids too. The saloon table also converts to an additional generous double bed if needed. There’s an enormous amount of storage space, suitable for a party of up to 11 travelling together for a week.
Galley
The kitchen has ample refrigeration and food storage, and features the much sought after ‘up galley’ that is a feature of the Leopard catamaran range. Leopard catamarans just keep getting better and better and this model is an example of some of the finest features available in bareboat cruising today.
Sailing performance
The Leopard 44 performs beautifully under sail or motor alone. The raised, shaded helm provides excellent visibility and as with all Whitsunday Escape charter boats, all lines lead to the cockpit for single-handed sailing.
Dinghy
The dinghy davits are operated by a single touch button control, making lifting and lowering the dinghy effortless.
