Travel Insurance for Australian Residents:
All charter fees are due and non refundable from 60 days prior to your charter commencement, unless we can re-book the boat for the same dates and same cost. This is why we recommend you consider travel insurance. We have worked with Oceanic Insurance Brokers to provide range of QBE policies suited to the bareboat industry. An inbound Travel Insurance policy is now available for non Australian residents. If you are traveling from overseas and have not obtained travel insurance. You can now book an inbound QBE policy online, click QBE Travel Insurance. The inbound policy also does include Cyclone cover. Security bond:
Your boat is already insured for accidental damage. The security bond listed below is the insurance excess.
| Lagoon 420, Fountaine 44 & Jeanneau 50 | $3000 |
| All vessels over 13m | $2,000 |
| All vessels under 13m | $1,500 |
The security bond is normally taken as a pre-authorization on your credit card on the day of departure. If you wish to pay by any other means, you will need to make arrangements well in advance. Bareboat Liability Insurance
This policy is designed to protect you from claims made against you or members of your charter party for Property Loss, Accidental Death and Bodily Injury caused by (or as a result of) your negligence.
