Travel insurance
All charter fees are due and non refundable from 60 days prior to your charter unless we can re-book the boat for the same dates and same amount. We recommend you consider cancellation travel insurance. Our preferred Insurance Broker Oceanic Insurance, offers a range of QBE policies online. Boat Insurance:
Your boat is insured for accidental damage. The security bond is the insurance excess.
Security Bond:
| Lagoon 420, Fountaine 44 & Jeanneau 50 | $3000 |
| All vessels over 13m | $2,000 |
| All vessels under 13m | $1,500 |
The security bond is normally taken as a pre-authorization on your credit card on the day of departure. If you wish to pay by any other means, you will need to make arrangements well in advance. Bareboat Liability Insurance
This policy is designed to protect you from claims made against you by others for Property Loss, Accidental Death, Bodily Injury to them caused by (or as a result of) your negligence. Australian non residents
The online policies are only available to Australian residents. If you are traveling from overseas and have not obtained travel insurance. You can book an inbound QBE policy by sending an email to travel.service@qbe.com. State you are a non resident and require an inbound policy. The inbound policy does not include Cyclone cover.
