DAYDREAM ISLAND

Cost: The mooring cost is $55 per night.
Anchorages: Seven moorings are located on the east side of the island outside the marina. The anchorage may not be comfortable in SE winds over 15 knots. N to NW winds it has good protection. You are not permitted to enter the marina with the main vessel.
Moorings: Call on channel 12 when in line of site for a mooring buoy allocation.

CLUB MED LINDEMAN ISLAND
Radio Contact: Call “Club Med Lindeman” on Ch 16 when in line of sight. Club Med will direct you to another channel.
Booking: Bookings not essential but ringing ahead to confirm availability is encouraged.
Mooring Cost: Half Day $30.00 All Day $50.00
Meals: Lunch-$95 Dinner-$130.00. Children 4-11 years, Lunch-$55.00 Dinner-$75. Infants-$15
Anchorages: Not a safe anchorage in se winds over 15 knots. Moorings available. Protected from N to NE winds

HAMILTON ISLAND MARINA
Radio Contact: “Hamilton Island” on Ch 68 when in line of sight. Do not enter Hamilton Island Harbour until you have permission. If still no success call them on 4946 8353.
Booking: Overnight marina booking is necessary, book well in advance for school holidays. Call by phone 4946 8353 or contact Whitsunday Escape Day visits can normally be arranged on short notice.
Cost: $85 per night. Day fees $14 per hour (generally limited to 2 hours)
Anchorages: Berths available only.
Facilities: Fuel, showers, dive tank refills, groceries , rubbish disposal, Night Clubs, Pubs, Restaurants, laundry etc

HAYMAN ISLAND MARINA
Radio Contact: “Hayman Island” on Ch 16 when in line of sight. Hayman Island will direct you to another channel usually Ch 10. If there is no answer, do not enter the marina. Try calling again by phone. 07 49401882
Booking: There is no longer day visits permitted to the resort facility’s, short visit access is restricted to the marina to take on water and drop of garbage. Booking recommended 24 hours in advance. The marina maybe closed during school holidays.
Cost: Day visit to marina only (no access to resort facility’s) to fill water tanks and drop off garbage cost $50.00
Mooring Fee: You may only stay overnight in the marina, if you book into the resorts hotel rooms. Check fees and charges when booking
Anchorages: No anchorages.
Facilities: Access to the marina will change from day to day, check in advance. No supplies are available at Hayman Island Marina, and they will not supply fuel. Dive tank refills may be available on request, all resort facilities (smart casual dress code applies).

PALM BAY LONG ISLAND
Radio Contact: “Palm Bay” on Ch 16 when in line of sight of the two pink moorings at entrance to the channel. Palm Bay will direct you to Ch 74. If there is no answer, do not enter the channel. Try again in a few minutes or call by phone.
Booking: Booking necessary. Call by phone or contact Whitsunday Escape. Time of entry may be limited due to low tide restrictions.
Cost: Minimum cost $45.00 per night (inside the lagoon) or $15.00 (outside the lagoon). Plus a utility/ facility fee of 25.00 per person for full use of resort facilities, this is applicable also if only entering resort for lunch or dinner. No children are allowed.
Anchorages: None available; pick up outside mooring and call Palm Bay. Do not enter the channel without assistance.
Facilities: Showers, restaurant, bar, resort pool, spa, LPG refills, provisioning, bushwalks.

CLUB CROCODILE LONG ISLAND
Radio Contact: “Long Island Water sports” on Ch 11 when in line of sight. If there is no answer, pick up one of the moorings and go ashore to register at reception. There are 10 moorings available.
Booking: Not required.
Cost: $75.00 overnight

HOOK ISLAND RESORT / OBSERVATORY
Radio Contact: “Hook Island” on Ch 16 when in line of sight. You will be directed to another channel, usually Ch 74. Do not pick a mooring until you have contacted Hook Island.
Booking: Bookings taken.
Cost: Up to 1 hour no charge, 1-3 hours $25 and 3-24 hours $45. Underwater observatory $8 per adult & $5 per child (4-12).
Anchorages: Anchor to the well west side of the Underwater Observatory. Two moorings are available in front of the resort (call first).
Facilities: Some basic reprovisioning, pool & bushwalks. Showers available.

SOUTH MOLLE ISLAND
Radio Contact: Not required. Report to reception ashore. They do monitor on Ch 16.
Booking: Not necessary.
Cost: $49 per boat per night on mooring inc. resort amenities, or $22 at anchor with resort amenities. A $5 surcharge applies per head for more than 4 people to use resort facilities.
Anchorages: Moorings available or anchor on the eastern side of the jetty, staying well clear of the jetty for ferry traffic. Take care as the anchorage shoals out to at least right angles with the jetty. Take the dinghy ashore to the beach west of the jetty. Do not tie the dinghy to the jetty, as it will be damaged.
