Cid Harbour on Whitsunday Island is very popular as a first night anchorage for bareboat charters and private boats alike. This calm anchorage has beaches to explore, a few bushwalks and also lends itself perfectly to:

  • kayaking
  • stand up paddle boarding
  • fishing

The bushwalks you can do from here are:

  • A short walk from Dugong Beach to Sawmill Bay,
  • For the experienced, go right up the top to Whitsunday Peak (take water).

Cid Harbour has quite a bit of history attached to it.  During WW2 the Allied Navy ships anchored here prior to the battle of the Coral Sea.
