Whitsunday Escape, Whitsunday Escape, This is Neptune!

With a year of uncertainty, several lockdowns and travel restrictions – being able to spend a week sailing around the Whitsundays Islands was an AMAZING way to spend my 30th birthday celebration with close friends. It was the perfect way to leave behind the troubles of a crazy year we have experienced in the world.

Whilst there was many uncertainties around travel plans especially with a group of friends located in several states around the country, the Whitsunday Escape team went out of there way to ensure we were well informed and up to date with the latest information. A shout out to Jordan (our boat instructor) who has a wealth of knowledge of the boat fleet and made the briefing enjoyable and fun. Our boat, Neptune was fairly new, well equipped to accommodate 9 of us for the week and very easy to operate.

We enjoyed the freedom of traveling around the islands at our own pace and spent time snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking as well as just soaking up the North Queensland Rays on Whitehaven beach.

We would definitely recommend Whitsunday Escape and would definitely return for another wonderful Holiday.
