Airlie Beach restaurants to enjoy before bareboating in the Whitsundays
Before you embark on your bareboating adventure through the Whitsunday Islands, we recommend you take advantage of the ‘Stay Aboard‘ option. The Rocks, Coral Sea Resort
For a fine dining experience that’s only a short walk from the marina, book a table at The Rocks Restaurant & Bar. Enjoy a 5 minute stroll along the waterfront boardwalk from your boat to the resort, and enjoy pool-side waterfront dining in the restaurant.
Al fresco dining is offered all day, and the menu focuses on fine dining, fresh local seafood and delicious flavours.
Northerlies Bar & Grill
Opening in 2018, Northerlies has quickly become a local favourite. Offering both a relaxed beachfront atmosphere perfect for some casual Sunday drinks by the ocean, and an a la carte restaurant that offers a high standard of cuisine.
Situated about 5km northeast of Airlie Beach, you can see the lights across the water from the marina, there is a shuttle bus on offer, or a taxi discount, so getting there is not difficult. It’s well worth the trip to appreciate the day time views or night time lights of Airlie Beach back across the bay.
The Deck
Situated right in the middle of the main street of Airlie Beach, alongside Airlie Creek, The Deck offers casual but fine meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Walk through to the lagoon from here for a swim too.
Shuckz Oyster and Champagne Bar
Treat yourself to an appetiser, or full meal, at Shuckz, in the main street of Airlie Beach. Specialising in oysters and champagne, the menu is actually quite extensive, and offers something for every taste.
Open only in the afternoon and evenings, in an arcade that leads to the lagoon, it’s a real treat!
Fish D’Vine
For the most authentic local seafood experience, you can’t go past Fish D’Vine. Featuring local specialties like mud crab, coral trout, red throat emperor and more, the menu is delicious, and also offers choice for the non-seafood lover.
Fish D’Vine also specialises in rum. With the most extensive Rum Bar we’ve ever seen, you can sample a drop from exotic locations around the world, and order a variety of intriguing rum-base cocktails. And of course, they’re famous for making an awesome mojito.
Cooks Bar & Grill
Located between the main street and the lagoon, Cooks Bar & Grill offers modern Australian cuisine with flavours from around the world.
Enjoy views over the lagoon for lunch and dinner.
