The Seawind 1160 has won numerous awards for its great open-plan cockpit/saloon design which suits the Australian outdoor lifestyle perfectly!
The four cabin Seawind 1160 can sleep up to ten. It features four double cabins and two bathrooms and the saloon table can drop down to make another double. A small child bunk is also available in one of the forward cabins.
This boat has ample headroom, generous refrigeration space and plenty of hatches for airflow. She also features bright underwater blue lights and bench seating near the rear barbeque.
The unique open-plan cockpit/saloon is perfect for entertaining and truly brings the outside in. It has 360° views of the Whitsundays and also has extra-large forward hatches to allow the sea breeze to flow through.
The Seawind 1160 (4) now also features air-conditioning when at the Marina for your comfort.
For sailing performance; a full batten main. For easy sailing; all ropes are led to the cockpit, she has a roller-furling self-tacking headsail, twin steering, an electric halyard winch and an autopilot.
Suitable for one to four couples, families and mixed groups. She will also perform equally well under power alone.
We had a wonderful time, excellent experience. Tim gave us wonderful instructions on the way so we had no problems with navigation. Comfortable boat to sleep, have fun for 6-9 people. We highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Whitsunday Escape we had a great holiday.
Whitsunday Escape was an amazing trip with memories that will last a life time. Tim did a superb trip on getting us prepared to skipper the last few days of the trip on our own. It's certainly a trip you can make the most of with plenty of activities from sailing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, fishing, hiking and just plain relaxing! Our catamaran 'Happy Cat' was set up perfectly for our needs. We would certainly recommend Whitsunday Escape to anyone wanting to visit the Whitsundays!
