Blue Pearl Bay & Hayman Island

Snorkelling Great Barrier Reef Whitsundays

Blue Pearl Bay is a Whitsundays favourite and is a Marine National Park Green Zone renowned for its excellent:

  • snorkelling
  • diving
  • abundant marine life (in both shallows and at depth)
  • coral viewing
  • wonderful birdlife

There is a narrow coral beach here, making a beach entry possible for scuba divers and snorkellers. There are markers (sticks), indicating where to dinghy in. It is also popular with day boats, but if you arrive early in the morning, it’s possible you can have the place to yourselves.
