Hamilton Island Update

Hamilton Island is a common mid-charter destination when bareboating as it’s a chance to top-up your water tanks, re-stock on fresh provisions and have a night off from cooking.

There is a berthing fee of roughly $245 for a 24-hour berth (11am – 11am) and you are required to berth the boat yourself.

RESTAURANTS

There are a range of restaurants, cafes and takeaway options on the island however many are operating with amended opening hours and a few remain closed. Some restaurants require a reservation and some are only excepting walk-in’s.

Coral Sea Marina – Airlie Beach

If you want to avoid Hamilton Island, you can head back to our base at the Coral Sea Marina.

The berthing fee is $160 for a 24-hour berth (midday – midday) and our friendly team are happy to berth the boat for you.

Heading back to our base means you are able to:

  • top-up water tanks,
  • stock up on any fresh provisions,
  • walk into town and enjoy one of the many restaurants in Airlie Beach,
  • swim at the beautiful lagoon.
