Whitsunday Escape swaps blue for green
The Whitsunday Escape Operations Team had a team-bonding day last week.
They opted to have a break from boats and to swap the sunset sail for a day on the green and so all headed to the new Whitsunday Green 9-hole Golf Course that has recently opened in Cannonvale.
It was a day of side-splitting laughter as most had never played golf before!
The morning was spent getting the swing of things (pun intended) and there were definitely some bloopers involved.
On the very first hole, one person’s ball went straight into the drainage pipes and the boys ensured it was a fair game and made him go in and find it.
Surprisingly, only one person’s ball ended up in the water and thankfully he was able to fish it out!
The afternoon ended with a couple of beers, a sausage sizzle, a round of pool and a pool party back at the Managers house.
Everyone has agreed that this should definitely happen again!
